Every Monday in the library girls are free to come a build with Lego. Building with any type of brick good for spatial awareness and a great introduction the STEM subjects.
Lego is good for building social skills. Students come and start to build alone but they find their voice quickly when they need a particular block and suddenly their build becomes a joint effort.
The library has ordinary Lego and Lego Robots. There is even a Lego League in Dublin that allows schools to compete with each other.
