Fighting Words publishes a magazine of exciting new writing by young people from all over Ireland with The Irish Times – they are now inviting submissions from secondary school age students to be included in The Irish Times supplement in 2026. Anti-Bullying Week will run from the 10th to the 14th of November and this year’s theme is “Belonging”. This week we hope to highlight and to help our students understand the importance of “belonging” at school – research has shown that when young people feel accepted in their classroom, bullying is less likely to occur.
