Mount Carmel works with Business in the Community Ireland (BITC) to run a mentor programme for senior cycle students.
This is a two year programme where students are paired with a mentor from Cornmarket Group Financial Ltd. across their sectors from HR and Customer Service to Finance.
Over the two year period, students meet with business employees for an hour every three weeks to discuss topics such as career potential or direction, researching college options, approaches to study, CV writing, interview preparation, etc. The mentor acts as an additional support to students.
Applications are available for the 5th year group of 2019/2020 to apply. Places are limited.
