Last week, TY Cara class visited senior members of our community, during their weekly social gathering, in Henrietta St. Students baked cupcakes, prepared treats and organised games for everyone and gave out prizes to the winners.
The students also had the chance to talk to everyone attending, asking them about their childhoods and what life was like when they were younger. Students found this very interesting. The event was such a success that they have been invited back another day, with TY Clodagh class scheduled to do the same, after Easter.
A big thanks to Ms. Farrington and Harry Keogh from Localise, for organising this super event. Students themselves said they had an ‘amazing time’ .
