This week, the second of our TY classes completed their STEM Day 1 (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Passport workshops, at TU Dublin in Aungier St. Students were mentored by computer professionals over zoom, learned to code and program micro-bits. They also learned how to use some of the advanced features of Microsoft Excel. The STEM password provides girls who are in Transition Year, the opportunity to achieve a University Accredited qualification in STEM. A big thanks to the staff of TU Dublin for organising, facilitating and running the workshop.
