Students travelling to Paris on the school’s Erasmus+ trip have departed Mount Carmel for what promises to be a fantastic few days. We look forward to attending some classes in Lycée Diderot as well as seeing all the sights! #Erasmus+ #Leargas

The final reveal…. our TY students, Hana, Kyla and Genaiza’s amazing Junk Kouture entry that won them a spot in the regional finals this Wednesday in The Helix! We are beyond proud!

Well done to everyone who took part in the World Book Day quizduring lunchtime and to all who dressed up as their favourite book characters. It was fantastic to see so many people getting involved.

Thank you to the students, staff and our wonderful Library Assistants who helped make the week such a success.

We had a brilliant World Book Week where we enjoyed:

A trip to Telling Tales in Trinity College

 Book Bingo  with classes

Whole-school Drop Everything And Read

Trip to Chapters for Graphic Novels

A World Book Day Kahoot quiz

 Book character dress-up

 Staff reading role models

Book Tokens and World Book Day books available in the library (still some left if anyone would like to pick one up next week)

The Kahoot quiz will be open soon, so keep an eye on our Instagram stories for the link if you’d like to give it a go yourself!
