Our TY students attended Paradise Place Educate Together to meet with 1st and 2nd class students. Our girls got a new buddy who they will support on their reading journey.
French debating
Alexandra, Lauriz, and Chryselle, accompanied by language assistant Elsa, took part in the Joutes Oratoires debating competition organised by the Alliance Française Dublin. Well done to all involved!
Visit from French Olympian
5th Year French students were lucky to be able to meet with French judoka and bronze medallist at the London Olympics. Gévrise Emane. The school visit, organised by the French embassy, included a presentation and a Q and A session where Gévrise spoke about her career, motivation and challenges.
Visit to The Central Library
TY Tresa class visited the Central Library to collect library cards and were lucky to enjoy a guided tour of all the library’s amazing resources. A big thank you to Eva Murphy for her time!
