First year students enjoyed a paired reading session with our transition year students last week in preparation for our local primary school visit this week!

As part of our JCSP film-making initiative we had a full day workshop with School of Improv. The students wrote their own sketches and then filmed and edited them. These sketches will be shown in the Lighthouse Cinema next month at a showcase of work from a number of schools! @mountcarmeljcsplibrary @jcsplibraries @mountcarmelsecondaryschool @skoolofimprov

Our 1st year Volleyball team played their first ever school league games in ALSAA Sports Complex today. Narrow loss to 2nd year students from Rockford Manor and a win against Ashbourne CC means a very promising start to their school competitions. Well done to all the girls today!

Well done to all our 3rd and 6th year students who started their mock exams today. Good luck for the remainder of the exams!

Well done to our 5th Year LCA girls who completed their first formal assessment on Friday with an examiner from the State Examinations Commission. Well done to the girls and their teachers.
